Holes: pt. 2

This is the second post about a book I am reading with my mom, Alisonwonderland!

Even after reading this book for the millionth time, (almost literaly!) I STILL love it. It's because theres always something new, something that changes depending on your mood and age, and just the great plot. Young or old, boy or girl would most likely love this book! And, although there are very few females, girl, like me, would still like this book. Of course, some wouldn't, but some boys won't either. Either way, i think you should go to the library right now and pick up a copy, even if you've already read it!

Holes: pt. 1

I'm reading Holes, by Louis Sachar, for a Newberry Challenge witTh my mom, Alisonwonderland. This is my post after reading the first half of the book.

I have read Holes many times in the last several years; for school, book groups, or just because I was bored. I think it's a great book, no matter how many times you read it! It's about a kid named Stanley. When walking home from school one day, a pair of shoes falls on his head. As it turns out, those shoes are million dollar shoes, and Stanley is sent to Camp Green Lake, a prison camp for boys. Every day, Stanley must dig a hole exactly 5 feet deep, and five feet around. But why?

Be looking out for my next post!
